About RModels

Established in 2010 R Models is a boutique model agency, representing models for fashion print, runway, commercial, print and TV/film projects.

R Models is located in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas.

Acting as both a booking and mother agency, we work with quality clients and place our models with the best representatives in larger markets, we guide and nurture our models throughout their entire career. We focus on maintaining a family style hands-on approach to build and manage our talent. Our philosophy is quality over quantity. We represent models throughout Texas and the US.

Ricardo Gutierrez, a native of San Antonio studied fashion design at Pratt Institute in NY until a flourishing makeup career in Europe took over his passion for art in fashion. The opportunity to be the first U.S.Technical trainer at MAC Cosmetics brought him back to New York City, and in 1997 he was recruited to launch the fame Versace Makeup as Director of Makeup and National Makeup Artist. Along the way, he worked with amazing photographers and the industries best creatives, art directors, makeup artist, stylist, manufactures and fashion designers. Ricardo has worked with major retailers as diverse as Neiman Marcus, Dillard’s, JC Pennys, MAC and Versace has helped him refine an eye for the most forthright elegance, no matter the brand, editorial strategy or subject.

Today, Ricardo’s photography portraits and editorial photos appear in publications and comprehensive beauty campaigns for companies including Julian Gold, Canvas jewelry, Niche Clothing, Jill Reno, Paesanos restaurants, Paloma Blanca restaurants, Frost Bank, Encore Realty, Witte Museum, Preferred Hotels and portraits for Eric Jennings (VP of Mens Fashion), Nicole Hollis (Interior Designer). Ricardo produces fashions show under the name RWorld Productions for charity organization such as San Antonio Food Bank and Stock Show and Rodeo plus Girls Inc. raising money for student scholarships. He also sits on the Advisory Board at UIW in the Fashion Department.

Ricardo returned home to San Antonio to help care for his elderly mother, who inspired him for a lifelong quest for beauty. Between the dream and Mexican romanticism, melding haute couture and DIY punk 80’s aesthetic, fusing art and fashion, Ricardo Mario’s images and fashion shows reflect his years of industry experience, a worldview cultivated by a global career and enduring pursuit of beauty in fashion. His amazing partner, family and friends inspire his passion to push forward to new and higher adventures.
